🛬 Step 1 - Arrival Checkpoint: Get Access to Your MCS Account

Activate your MCS username and password

  1. You’ll receive an email at your personal address with your MCS username and email.

  2. Call the Help Desk at (209) 574-8600 to reset you rlogin password.

🧳 Step 3 - Launchpad Lounge: Access to Microsoft 365 and Other Apps

To access Microsoft 365, Outlook, and other key MCS tools, go to:

You can also get to the MCS App Portal directly at https://launchpad.classlink.com/mcs
Once at the MCS App Portal you sign in with your District username (not email) and password.  Tip: Use the search bar to quickly find tools like “Office” or “PD Catalog.”

🎓 Step 4 - Professional Development Gate

Find and complete your required self-paced training module.

  1. Go to the MCS App Portal and open the PD Catalog.

  2. To find the New Hire Tech Training eLearning module, simply use the Course Search tool in your Homepage. Search “New Hire” in the course catalog.

  3. Click Register, then Go to Course

  4. Complete all slides, then click “I’m Finished”

Topics Covered: Passwords, Wi-Fi, Outlook Email, Device Basics, MCS App Portal, Help Desk, MS Teams Basics.

🛬 Optional Connection: PowerSchool Training

If your role requires you to use PowerSchool or PowerTeacher, your School Site Administrator can submit a request to the Help Desk to grant you access.

📚 Need training?
You can request an optional online training module to learn how to navigate PowerSchool—our Student Information System used for managing student data, attendance, and grades.

📞 Call the Help Desk at (209) 574-8600 to request login credentials.
🌐 Then head to:

This training is only needed if PowerSchool is part of your role.

🎒 Optional Connection: Schoology Access & Training

If your role requires access to Schoology, our district's Learning Management System (LMS), your School Site Administrator can email a request to Help Desk on your behalf.
