MCS Summer School & Extended Summer School (ESS)
Students have the opportunity to recover lost credits by attending Summer School and Extended Summer School. These classes are delivered online using the APEX curriculum. Students who participate in Summer School and ESS must attend in person, on time, bring necessary materials, and make continual progress otherwise they will be at risk of being dropped. Please note that these classes are not a “quick and easy” way to earn credits. Students may have homework and reading assignments outside of class. Attendance is taken every session and there are NO EXCUSED ABSENCES for Summer School or ESS.
Students will be dropped for the following reasons.
More than 9 hours of absences.
Not making adequate progress in the course.
Students missing the first day of class of summer school will be dropped.
