Apply for the Budget Advisory Committee06/07/2019
We are forming a Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) to help our stakeholders gain an understanding of education funding and the challenges that come with creating the District budget. Staff will share information on revenues and expenditures, operational defecits, the status of the state’s budget, the allocation of our resources, the budget timeline, and the approval process. The BAC will provide a forum for committee members to ask questions and for staff to receive input.
We are seeking committee members from the following groups:
- Modesto Teachers Association (2)
- Parent/Guardian (4)
- California School Employees Association (2)
- Community Member (1)
- Site Principal (2)
- MCS Managers (2)
The BAC will meet once a month in September, October, January, and February.
Interested parents/guardians, staff, and community members are encouraged to apply. Please fill out the application linked below and submit it by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019.
