Number of Students Earning High Marks on State Tests Increases Again11/15/2017
The Board of Education and Superintendent Able awarded medals to 166 students from 19 schools for earning high marks on 2016-2017 California state tests – an increase of nearly 28% over last year. Sixteen students achieved recognition in both the math and English Language Arts sections of the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) test – an increase of 30% over last year.
Students attended special ceremonies prior to the October 9 and October 30 board meetings. Pictures from the ceremonies are on the District’s Facebook page.
