• K-6 Parent Involvement Improved Fall 2016

K-6 parents and guardians met and surpassed our LCAP goal of 80% attendance at parent-teacher conferences last fall, with an average of 91% attendance across school sites. Every elementary school met this goal, with the highest percentage (97%) at Tuolumne and Enslen elementary schools.

Parents and families are important influences in a child's life. Students learn better, attain higher grades and have improved school attendance when parents are involved in their child’s education. By attending meetings with teachers, parents can show their child that they care, improve communication with their child’s teacher and learn something new about their child.

Thank you to all our parents and guardians who are involved in their student's education!
