Budget Advisory Committee

The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) will help our stakeholders gain an understanding of education funding and the challenges that come with creating the District budget. Staff will share information on revenues and expenditures, operational defecits, the status of the state’s budget, the allocation of our resources, the budget timeline, and the approval process. The BAC will provide a forum for committee members to ask questions and for staff to receive input. 

The committee will be comprised of members from the following groups:  

  • Modesto Teachers Association (2)
  • Parent/Guardian (4)
  • California School Employees Association (2)
  • Community Member (1)
  • Site Principal (2)
  • MCS Managers (2) 

The BAC will meet once a month in September, October, January, and February.
